Terms of Use

Last updated September 29, 2026

These terms apply to bermansystems.com (the "Site"), operated by Jacob Berman, doing business as Berman Systems ("Berman Systems", "I", "me"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Information only

The Site describes my services. It is not an offer, and it is not professional advice. Nothing on the Site creates a client relationship. Services are provided only under a separate written agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Intellectual property

The Site's content, including text, design, logos, and the Berman Systems name and mark, belongs to Berman Systems. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use. You may not copy, modify, or republish the content for commercial use without written permission.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it in bulk, or send spam or malicious code.

Your submissions

Information you send through the Site is handled under the Privacy Policy. Please don't send confidential information until we have an agreement in place.

Other websites

Links to other sites are provided for convenience. I'm not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Berman Systems is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Site. Total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars.

Indemnity

You agree to cover claims, losses, and costs arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state where Berman Systems has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.

Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.

General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
